BAN APARHEID JUDGES AND LAWYERS WHO ABORT JUSTICE: MEDICO-LEGAL CORRUPTION, AND HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSE IN SOUTH AFRICA
There are five (5) groups of people in life: only one (1) of these groups will succeed! Those who wait, watch, wander and wonder, are doomed.
Those who MAKE THINGS HAPPEN, can assist me to motivate cracking into the bias of apartheid justice, which is still with us, even though fourteen (14) years have passed, since the death of apartheid…
Anyone who spoke out during the apartheid regime, was shut up and removed. The New South Africa will be a success, because democracy has enabled citizens to right the wrongs of the “laager mentality” of apartheid: people were frightened to speak up…
Peace will prevail only when TRUTH is admitted, and a road is opened for the benefit of all South Africans.
UBUNTU means sharing, so that we all succeed: Ubuntu, in action, implies: “I am a person, because of other people”. Interaction and co-operation creates synergy, which means there’s more for all of us.
UBUNTU locks horns with greed, which promotes dog-eat-dog, win-at-all-costs competition. The horse of opportunity, that could have been shared, is killed and cut up. Everyone is doomed!
After a doctor butchered me, I was dispossessed. The doctor’s lawyer boasted that the high court case was going to be a “walk-over”.
Daggers wound my soul, because my sanity was fingered, for which I will never forgive the persons implicated: an advocate, wearing a skull-cap and, operating with a ruthless social worker, tried to get me to be evaluated at a mental institution, his pretext being that it would “strengthen my case”… Sure! Strengthen the case AGAINST me!
To think that all the main players in this evil fiasco – motivated by money, and aiming to shut me up – are people of my same religious faith, which is based on the Sacred Laws of Truth: Dr. Abraham J. Twersky teaches us that TRUTH+GOD are inseparable twins! My faith is also based on “Tikkun Olam” - “healing the world” - even though they tried to destroy me and my Truth, in order to protect a negligent doctor who has a history of medical negligence, God expects of me never to renege and never to relent on precipitating an investigation which will crack medico-legal corruption in South Africa; even though I may never complete this task, it has my total commitment, and I do it with Honour, to God’s Greater Glory…
I have learnt that life punishes those who are different, because they refuse to follow the sheep to the slaughter. Kahlil Gibran fled from his own country, because he announced the Truth. History is replete with people who announced Truth and were shunned, then they became heroes. My Hero is Nelson Mandela, who was shut away for 27 years, because He struggled to crack apartheid: from Prisoner to President; now He’s An Icon, because He never gave up…
Terry Fox, a leukemia sufferer with a gammy leg, in a Public Awareness Campaign, struggled to run across Canada. He donated all monies to charity. People took scant notice!
I am permanently maimed after botched mouth surgery: I eat in pain, and I speak in discomfort. Because I voiced my grievances, my sanity was fingered, my house and furniture was attached by the sheriff, in an attempt to silence me, and my lecturing career is aborted. “They deprived me of my possessions, they can shed my blood, and burn my body, but they can never harm my spirit, or touch my Truth” (Kahlil Gibran).
Truth and Justice denied, in a blatantly-unfair trial, coupled with gross Human Rights Abuse – they tried to drug me, and to blackmail me, into a mental institution – compels me to dedicate my life to a Public Awareness Campaign, rocking apartheid-installed health professions council and law society, which still treat victims of medical negligence with aggressive contempt.
My firm resolve to stop similar torture and trauma with other victims, has moved me beyond fear.
Like Terry Fox, I will donate all monies to precipitate an investigation, which will help crack into the cancer of medico-legal corruption in South Africa.
I have prepared myself for the worst scenario, but I will not be intimidated, and I will never relent on proving that because of botched surgery and blatant negligence, I live in permanent pain.
My conscience obligates me to share my horrific encounters, with the world, and to alert all South Africans, so that they are pre-warned, and spared similar heinous torture by an archaic system, which refuses to listen.
For the benefit of all South Africans, I expose tactics used by lawyers, in order to protect doctors who damage us: the law works against the victim, and favours the negligent doctor...
THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS:
All lawyers are comrades, so your lawyer will play into the doctor’s lawyers’ hands, ensuring you are financially drained.
The doctor’s lawyers will pay a medical team mega-bucks to get reports which will challenge your sanity, so the focus of the damage caused by the doctor boomerangs, and there is an entire paradigm shift, with all forces working against you; you will be given medication that may cost you your life, and they will arrange to institutionalise you, if this is necessary, in order to shut your mouth...
If I relent on following through this crusade-for-Truth, I betray the principles which sustain my life...
My name is Raymond Chait. I am a 55-year old lecturer, maimed by Dr. Julian Rumbak, who has a negligence history, relevant in the Public Interest.
When Dr. Rumbak heard that I have never had any operations, he mentioned that he suffers from high blood pressure. He wanted to book me into hospital, and give me a general anaesthetic, to remove my splintered tooth roots. I find this very questionable!
I spell out an evil plot by a gang of professionals, who silence TRUTH, and challenge NUMEROUS DOCTORS’ & DISTRICT SURGEON’S REPORTS, INDICATING PERMANENT NERVE & MUSCLE DAMAGE & CARTILAGE DISRUPTION, AFTER DR. RUMBAK BOTCHED MOUTH SURGERY.
A judge must be independent and strong-willed enough to be his own man, upholding integrity in the Justice System; courts must uphold the law, and safeguard the rights of all citizens! I prove that in South Africa, the men with the gold make the rules: this is the right of eminent domain.
JOHANNESBURG HIGH COURT CHAIT VS. RUMBAK CASE NO. 97/020452
(10 NOVEMBER 1998):
JUDGE CLAASSEN shouted at me, sanctioned a “leading question”: when I pointed out that two (2) doctors were found guilty in the Steve Biko murder cover-up, and that five (5) brazen doctors, In The Name of TRUTH, forced the case to be re-opened, adv. John Suttner asked me if “there are only five (5) ‘straight’ doctors in South Africa, all the rest being ‘crooks’?”!!
At the raced pre-trial conference at Suttner’s house, he challenged me: “you a clever man! why do you say such stupid things?”!!
HEALTH PROFESSIONS COUNCIL apartheid fossils are paid to protect negligent doctors. Their credo　- “guiding the professions and protecting the public” - is an absolute misnomer! Their elderly chairman, Dr. Dreyer, tried to comfort me, with the pretext that he also suffers pain! This council is guilty of protecting doctors implicated in the Steve Biko murder cover-up; they were then forced to re-open the case, meting out objective punitive measures. Similarly, they found Dr. Rumbak “blameless”, without showing any interest in all the damage he caused to my mouth!
THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH has no control over doctors (like Dr. Rumbak) in private practice!
Judge Claassen refused to permit me to demonstrate to the High Court that because of DR. RUMBAK, I chew like a donkey: my jaws are dislocated due to cartilage disruption, and they crack in pain; my neck muscles are in spasm; Judge Claassen would not allow me to refer to details of DR. RUMBAK’S THREE (3) OTHER VICTIMS! In one instance - motivated by Advocate Brian Spilg - Dr. Rumbak admitted guilt, in an out-of-court settlement!
PETER SOLLER, my lawyer, played into Dr. Rumbak’s lawyers’ hands; he sent me DEATH THREATS [signed Peter Soller et al (and others)]. He was struck off the attorneys’ roll by 2 Judges, who state that Soller “is a danger to his clients”!
The law society’s Mr. du Plessis protected Soller at five (5) bogus investigations, and threatened to “have me removed”, when I insisted that I be allowed to state my case!
This weak law society condones defaulting lawyers, and stands accused of allowing “172 law firms to defraud poor road accident victims”! (Investigation by The Star 10 July 2001).
ROHAN ISAACS, Dr. Rumbak’s lawyer, humiliated me, and he fingered my sanity ie. character-assassination, which is crimen injuria: he threatened me with court orders to compel, thus forcing me to subject myself to psychiatric evaluation by Dr. David Shevel, who was paid and briefed by Isaacs, to concoct a report stating that the physical damage caused by Dr. Rumbak, is a mental condition, because my Economics students achieved highest marks in South Africa on three (3) occasions in National C.I.S. examinations. Dr. Shevel’s report states that I am Narcissistic, which is a psychiatric disorder: delusions of grandeur, just because I told him the Truth!
I take extreme exception to this fingering of my sanity, because Dr. Shevel was paid by lawyer Rohan Isaacs to do so! What a disgrace!
Rohan Isaacs intimidated my chief witness - the course co-ordinator at the college where I lectured - who then refused to testify. As a lawyer, Isaacs should know that witness-intimidation is a serious & criminal offence.
Isaacs agreed afterwards: “God forbid” he ever experience what has happened to me.
I said that I played the piano in the Tusk Bar at The Palace at Sun City. Lawyers twisted this Truth, to reduce me to the ranks of a “skollie”-busker, by saying that I play the piano “IN BARS”, giving the impression that I amuse drunks! This equates me, and my piano-playing, with that of a cheap minstrel!
An advocate, liaising with a social worker, tried to blackmail me into an evaluation at a mental institution!
DR. GUNTHER WINKLER tried to silence me with psychotic drugs - Haloperidol and Benzhexol - which cause stiffness, shaking, and sudden death!
MEDICAL DEFENCE UNION & MEDICAL PROTECTION SOCIETY - doctors’ insurers based in London - mobilise all the money necessary to financially drain, unnerve, and fight to finality, victims who take a stand.
CAPE TOWN MAYOR, HELEN ZILLE, promised to crack private-sector corruption. This was a ruse to get votes. Her bodyguard greeted me, but she ignores the grievances I left for her attention.
RELEVANT PARLIAMENTARIANS, INCLUDING PRESIDENT MBEKI, know of my medico-legal corruption grievances. They, too, have done nothing.
THE HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION is not interested in investigating South African medico-legal corruption!
The Public are sitting ducks, because doctors continue to enjoy carte blanche to bury all their botch-ups. Their insurers appoint an army of lawyers, who instruct doctors never to admit guilt, even when there is blatant negligence.
DR. RUMBAK is still practising. Anyone is vulnerable to become his next statistic: another silenced & victimised victim.
In The Name of Truth, I plead for Justice, and I alert The-World’s-Powers-That-Be, in a global call to blow the whistle on gross Human Rights Abuse and Mental Torture suffered by medical negligence victims in South Africa, and to expedite closure, which will terminate my 13 (thirteen) year Crusade-for-Truth, after an UNFAIR TRIAL, presided over by a judge with a biasing & apartheid attitude, and no mercy for medical negligence victims: a burnt vagina negligence victim, was treated ruthlessly by this same judge!
DR. RUMBAK’S INSURERS, AND DENEYS REITZ ATTORNEYS, are the principals which condone the subversive and reprehensible conduct of its agent, lawyer ROHAN ISAACS, and are the partners jointly and severally liable for this fiasco!

4. Dr. E. Shevel… E.M.G. (electromyograph) “low muscle activity” (Doctor withheld report)
5. Ms. Liz Hindle… “face swollen grotesquely after oral surgery, and a ruined lecturing career”
6. Dr. G. Winkler… not able to lecture under current circumstances. Medication Haloperidol for concerns about muscle pains in the jaw
7. Dr. J. Rumbak… presented with severe spasm of the facial and masticatory muscles, with extreme pain. (These were the effects after his surgery to remove splintered tooth-roots).
